First Look At iOS7
Hey, geeks & techie peeps!
just got both of my iphone 4 & iphone 5 updated to the latest iOS7 software on my phone.
wanted to share what to expect when u get your iOS7 installed on your for for the first time & what i think of iOS7 after playing with my phone for few hours.
A quick summarise view of what to expect when you update your iphone.
firstly, you will need to go your settings on your iphone > settings > software update > select update.
once its done downloading (downloading time vary) you will need to click on "install now"
(The installing process will take quite awhile ... please be patient)
Once your phone fully install's the iOS7 you will be able to see this few screen shots.
(You will be seeing this message on your screen. just a simple "Hello" greeting from your new iOS7 iphone. To continue with the set up just simply slide to the right)
(Notify you that download has completed, just click on "continue" to proceed)
(You will be asked enable / disable location services. I enable mine, as it will locate my iphone if by any chance i miss place my phone / stolen)
(Now, this new feature is really what we all need. You don't want someone stealing your phone and shutting off "find my iphone" now don't you?")
(Now you will be able to enjoy your new 3D like lock screen, to unlock your phone just simply slide to the right to unlock)
(You will now see a very cool keypad will reflect on what you have at the background for lock screen photo. just key in your existing passcode to unlock your phone)
(This is how your new icon's will look like, simple & sophisticated design with transparent like folders. in every folder there is no more limit, you can keep on adding more apps in a folder and you just need to swipe to the left to access to the next page which i think its pretty cool! i like the idea it has not limitations like the the past iOS)
(Now that we can store more in a folder we don't have to keep hunting for what we are looking for. mine just simply stops on the second page)
(This is how it looks like when u want to access a particular folder. As u can see there is 2 pages in this folder.... simply just swipe to reveal the next page)
(This is how your new multitask screen will look like, i think its really cool as you will just need to scroll on to the next page to see whats running and simply swipe upwards to stop running apps)
(I decided to go ahead to try out the new and improved siri. I have to say, siri can understands me better now and also it can execute what i want like blazing fast speed! It's a big improvement compared to the previous siri)
I guess that raps up my summarised review of the new iOS7, hope this help you all out there...
